I am back from the great white north. A few days of rest and relaxation camping in Bear Country did me some good, I made a quick stop to Chicago for business last week as well so I haven’t been able to post anything.
Just quickly sharing a few thrifted finds like this Birks handbag. Now, I hadn’t done any research on these until last night. This might be vintage. It looks like it from the interior. I just thought it was a cute little bag for going out.
If anyone knows anything about these, I’d love to hear from you in the comments.
I also picked up this one. There are no markings on it but it looks old and smells even older! I love when things smell old…I think I might be weird that way.
And the smelly ole inside…
Next, we have this lovely pair of yellow wedges. No name brand anywhere on them but they are so comfortable and I like the ankle strap. I picked these up at Value Village.

Aren’t they cute? I don’t think I’ve ever owned yellow shoes. A great alternative to white or cream for the warm months.
Mr. Restyle was with me when I bought these next ones. In fact, he spotted them. I wasn’t sure. I was afraid they might look old lady like but I secretly really liked them. They are from France! Brand new condition and they are the most comfortable shoes ever!

Oui oui, mais non non to the unpolished pedi (sorry). Should’ve kept the polish on til AFTER I took the pics.

Oh how I wish I were in Paris sipping a drink and having a bite to eat in one of the countless cafes whilst wearing these shoes, a wonderful summer skirt and blouse (perhaps a hat) and watching the world go by!
Wow! That birks bag is very vintage! Birks is a jewellery store here in Canada, and you may really want to look into the value of that. It’s so pretty, I love handbags.

Hi there! I am actually located in Canada and I remember the Birks stores. I’ll have to look into this a little further. Thanks for the tip!

*Let me know if you ever want to do a thrifty international swap! 😉

That would be awesome! I had started a youtube channel that would feature my thrifted finds. Unfortunately, there aren’t enough hours in the day to regularly make videos and do everything else. I just love watching thrift hauls. I don’t know what it is about women but it seems we can just sit there and watch each other hold up garment after garment for hours (at least I know I can).
An international swap would be great. Maybe we can do this in the fall when my work schedule calms down a bit. Thanks for the suggestion.
